I learned that as bariatric patients, we all have similar mindsets. This is not an easy way out. You have to work hard to help yourself.

For example, I went to dinner and stuck to the F2F list. I skipped the pasta and chose salmon and asparagus. It was delicious and fulfilling; I let myself have a piece of bread and didn’t feel like I destroyed the whole plan! I’m in a much better mindset now.

The Back On Track program was different
than others I’ve done.
It didn’t tell me exactly what and when to eat like
I was used to. At first I thought, “This isn’t going
to work,” but after 10 days, I am down 4 pounds!
Now, I’m able to make better choices. While I
don’t make 100% healthy choices, this system
put me in control to learn the better options.
